Breaking Down Blog Writing Packages

If you’re on the hunt for a writer to help with your blogs, then you’re probably wondering what is included when you sign a contract. I pride myself on keeping things simple. The last thing anyone needs these days is a complicated service package that ultimately does not serve them. When I constructed my package pricing, I wanted there to be wiggle room while still covering the basics. Before you sign on with me, your lovely neighborhood blog writer, it’s important to understand exactly what you’ll get with a blog writing package.

Why Package Services Are Better

There are a few reasons I prefer packaged services. One, selfishly, is that I can better predict my monthly income. But more importantly, I like packages because you know exactly what you’re getting, too. You can better prepare and budget, and rest assured that at the end of the month, there are clear deliverables that benefit your blog and brand.

Whether you have a personal or lifestyle blog, or need a blog for your business, packages ensure we’re all on the same page.

Breaking Down Blog Writing Packages

So what is actually included in my packages. As a writer, my packages are heavily structured around the writing aspect. But there are a few other things you’ll get.

Social Media

The first thing you’ll get is social media. I’ve never claimed to be a social media manager, but it’s important to advertise your blogs and utilize blog content across marketing platforms. So, for each blog, I create four related social media graphics. This includes graphic creation in Canva as well as a caption. If you purchase an eight blogs a month package, that means you will get thirty-two blog-related social media posts!

Administrative Time

This one is the bigger mystery for most. Each package includes some amount of what I call administrative time. There’s always something extra that needs to be done each month. Whether that’s updating plugins on WordPress, fixing broken links in old posts, creating an extra social media post, or throwing together a quick newsletter blast to advertise the latest blog, I can use that time to help you with the extraneous and key parts of running a blog.

Determining how that time is used regularly or on a month-by-month basis is something we will discuss in our initial meeting.

Meeting

Next, every package takes into account a monthly meeting time. I want our time together to be collaborative, which means getting your input and discussing expectations on a regular basis. This meeting does not have to be complicated or long, but rather a check-in time so we both have a chance to ask questions, get clarification, draw attention to upcoming needs, or just realign and get back on the same page.

Planning Help

Working with me means you have an extra mind behind brainstorming and planning content. Not only does this mean we’ll put together a blog content schedule for the year, but I can also help with scheduling out related social media posts and working on researching trends and bringing them to your attention. It’s just another part of what I do to help manage your blog.

Building Your Blog with a Blog Writer

Blog writers are so much more than just writers. However simple my service packages might be, there are lots of little tasks that are included in just the writing part of my job. The other services included span the spectrum of blog management needs and ensure your blog stays active and well-written.
